Here is a link to a page which explains how to record a programme from BBC
iPlayer:

The easy solution is explained here:

It is not necessary to record Radio 4 live. You can download a programme
from the BBC website for up to 7 days after it has aired on Radio 4 FM.

Winamp and GOM Player will play a BBC radio mp4 file. You can get those
players - as Windows versions - from this website:

Hi again,

Thanks to those who offered me advice on how to record programmes.

As it turns out my father got rushed to hospital and had open heart surgery last week, as a result of which I completely forgot about Hancock and emails and all. I am just catching up on my emails and was surprised when I realised Hancock had slipped my mind, as I had been looking forward to it so much, for months.

I guess a family emergency forcefully puts these things into perspective. You just cannot foresee these events.

I am sure I will catch up with the new Hancock's sometime in the future.

You’re welcome gents. Glad to be of service. Just a fair warning though, I’m traveling in the next couple of weeks so I may not have the chance to upload the upcoming episodes. Although it has become somewhat awkward to use of late, no thanks to Aunty, get_iplayer is still a very useful utility to have.

Thanks very much Mark. I have loved Hancock since I was a boy and the newly recorded episodes are very exciting to me. I was pretty upset that I had completely forgotten about them. I truly appreciate your efforts posting them.

Also, thanks so much for that modern marvel, the Jam Jar. You have such a great collection and we are all privileged that you allow us access to it.
