Topic: An episode I just enjoyed immensely

Hello all,

While driving to the office this morning, I was listening to some classic JAM.  Specifically, number 166 (Season 8, Episode 25), Pete, with Clement Freud, Derek Nimmo, Peter Jones and Andree Melly.  Kept me laughing from start to finish.

I listened to an older episode last night- one I had never heard before -with Andrea Melly being the Chair

She was all over the place with her rulings LOL-

I just listened to that on the way up to Dallas the other week!  It was interesting to hear.  I don't think it's going down in history as one of the great JAM episodes, but it kept my attention precisely because it was so different.

Very much a product of its time: the first three or four topics were all more or less about having a woman in charge of the show.  I somehow doubt that would fly, today.  :)

I'd like them to experiment with Nicholas on the panel and a regular as chairperson again.  Not as a regular feature, but as a rarity.  It's nice to listen to, in small doses.

Ok  I have heard the shows with Clement and Kenneth Chairing- has any of the others done that?

I just imagine Peter Jones doing it

Ian Messiter and Geraldine Jones have not chaired. But not Peter. You might have thought he would have had a go as he chaired Twenty Questions for a while.
