I created a Facebook page for the JAMmer shoutcast stream of ours a
while ago, but has recently started to add some content to it. It's
mainly just a welcoming message and a few pictures there today, but if
you would like to "like" it and follow as things (presumably) happens,
you're welcome to do so. :)
https://www.facebook.com/jammerstreamserver
And btw, if any new members have any questions regarding this "stream"
we talk about now and then, just ask away. It's essentially an audio
stream of all the JAM episodes we've got.
Yes that is the server homepage, with info on what's playing now and
what's played earlier. Handy to know if you want to see what was just
played. As you so correctly state there's a link there that is supposed
to open a player to play the stream, but it requires that you have a
player installed, and it seems you don't have a player installed on your PC.
What you need is a program that can play back Shoutcast streams. On a
smartphone search for "shoutcast" in your mobile store and it *should*
give you some players. From within that program, search for "The jammer"
in the Shoutcast directory, and you should find it. From then on, just
bookmark that station and you'll forever have it easily accessible.
On PC it depends on what operating system you use, also others might be
better suited at recommend a program since I am not a Mac or Windows
user myself (please help me here guys).
But another alternative is to use a web player. For example Shoutcasts
own player.
Head here and search for "the jammer":

Hope this clarified things a bit.
And just as an addendum, if there are any website owners amongst us who
want to embed a player on their page, just copy-paste this snippet here
into your page!
