You refer to "my favourite Nicholas mistake".

This in itself deserves a new discussion group  :-)

I really must go looking for my own favourite Niconfusion.  What fun!

The fuss over David Tennant's first in speaking for 60 minutes without interruption continues.

Nicholas mistakes have been going on for years. :P
Mind you, your comment about the press is something that is a shame.  There appears to be no real culpability and research (in the UK!!!).

My brother was injured in a bomb attack around 10 years ago.  In the evening paper, he got reported as a 68 year old, and as he was (at the time) a world champion freediver, I decided to call the Daily Mail Group (it's always them) to update their story.  Despite being called by the brother of the person they were writing about, they didn't change the facts and my 23-yr-old brother stayed the old dignified gent in the public press the next day when the daily mail ran the same story.

For me it's just lazy (again in this country!! :P), and not to do with Nicholas saying it or not.

It's funny you make the observation about your reaction to the show being slightly disappointment, given the cast.

While I did enjoy it a great deal, I had this thought while I was listening to it that we had a panel who were delivering great individual performances, but that almost nothing could match the interplay between the gang of four who were so familiar with each other.

Then I thought that maybe I was being too hard on the show, because it really was quite good.  :)

I haven't listened to this week's show, yet, but I'm hoping to in a few minutes time, before going to bed.
