Hi all,

I've often thought that it's interesting that Paul has an aversion to the Internet and mobile phones. Part of me is slightly envious that he's able to do without all this modern technology, although I imagine his wife (or someone else in his life) must use the Internet on his behalf.

Like most people, I couldn't do without these things, but I'm slightly envious that Paul can.

Anyone else noted Paul's views on modern life?

Yeah, I had considered it. He still regularly does the Comedy Store Players most weeks twice a week, and he has quite a few regular, gigs, and according to Dean's blog he makes plenty of money, so maybe it's just a case of: he hasn't needed to change much in the last 10/20 years. I think his style of comedy doesn't require being with-the-times so much (though he obviously has to read the papers for HIGNFY, I could easily imagine him doing exactly that... have you seen his responses when they show a 'viral' video - bewilderment). He's probably quite happy. He enjoys old films, the silent comedies and whatnot. I dunno. Fair play to him! :)
