Topic: Kenneth Willams on Turner Classic Movies (off-Subject)

A few weeks ago, I recorded the 1966 comedy film "Carry On Screaming", because it featured Kenneth Williams. When I began watching it last night, I couldn't remember who was in it (except for Kenneth Williams). I was convinced that the actor portraying a police inspector was John "Insp. Morse" Thaw; but today, IMDB shows him to be Harry H. Corbett, of Steptoe & Son fame. Corbett was born 17 years prior to Thaw, but it's eerie how similar their appearances and voices are.

Is anyone aware of a connection between the two men?

One connection is our very own Sheila Hancock, who shared the stage with each of them.

And she was married to John Thaw, and I suppose some of the grandchildren of whom Sheila speaks were there's.
