Yes Espen, I have received Take Down Notices and Cease & Desist Notices for uploading old Just A MInute episodes to various file-sharing sites. Where the objector was identified it was a guy in a firm in California, there was no explanation for his intervention other than that he had identified copyright violation; I never saw any sign that he was an agent of the BBC or Audiogo. [...] I have not given up on sharing my collection though, some day I will find a way to share the whole lot.

Aha - well in that case I stand corrected and very well understand the precautions being made. I should have assumed it was so. :)

Well, if things turn tricky I could always offer disk space on that JAM streamer server. I both own and host the physical machine so there's no restrictions with storage space or service providers.
At least that's a backup solution if needed. I'll of course give Mark write access to it. Or, for that matter, you. As long as it's shared for the whole community I'm willing to offer the physical means required.

I have long been puzzled (and grateful) that your excellent stream does not fall foul of the authorities.  Maybe because you do not offer downloads, only s! treaming?  Maybe because there is no big wealthy yet vulnerable organisation behind you which they could profitably attack? 

I am just glad you get away with it, your Jammer stream has kept me entertained most days for the last 3 years!

Thanks! Yeah it's not kept a secret in any way, so you are probably right that it's not BBC but rather fortune hunters who do these takedown notices?
