Hi all,
Firstly apologies to Mark. I never read the thread in order, so I mentioned your site. Can I suggest that maybe Pylon.net is a good substitute?
To remind everyone Mark advised us not to name his site, auntie, or what you put on crusty bread and butter.
Now to report that within 24 hours after I found Mark's site blocked by K9 web protection which is part of Blue Coat as porn I am pleased to announce that BC reviewed the site and has downgraded it to Adult/Mature and Entertainment. So I am on Mark's wonderful site enjoying marmalade, and am able to instantly spread it on my toast at home thanks to my laptop's pop up button save or open. So if you find it blocked ask for it to be unblocked by your web protection.
Mark asked if we could fund another site. I would chip in. At some point I will investigate how to get
media@fi@re files on the yahoo group site...when I get more time. Big job coming up when the weather eases.
Thank you to Mark for sterling work.
There is an
Ar@chers p@dcast website archive hosted by someone who uses his personal website and his identity is there for all to see. That has been running for some years, and he even has his own business advertised on it as sponsor. Last time I listened the advert ran over the opening music of each episode.
Not related.
Anyone know if people in the USA can listen to auntie
I@player radio shows? I want to recommend Marmalade to someone there.
Anyone know how to get alerts to attendance opportunities at live recordings of Marmalade being posted? I log on to their site occasionally and usually find they are fully booked/not advertised. Maybe I just need to log on every week. The emailed newsletter only advertises new shows.
Best regards,
Dave
