Hi! Do you add the file to your tablet PC through your computer, or do you directly download from a website? I ask because I often have to change the volume metadata of JAM files when I've downloaded them from websites. The best way, and I HATE that this is the best way, is to use Itunes *bangs head against the wall in punishment for mentioning an Apple product*. Drag the file into Itunes, right click on it, click show info or similar, and find the options tab. Pull the slider to the right to make it louder. then click okay.

The problem with Audacity is that you have to re-convert the file to fix the volume. This can be in issue with sound degradation. Just my 2 cents.
