I wonder of they will be replaying the other Edinburgh show which oddly played at 9am one Monday morning in August.Panel news - two of the recordings for this season feature Tony Hawks, Gyles Brandreth, Sue Perkins and Andy Hamilton. Andy is one of the great panel show guests and has been on all the other Radio Four shows and I've often wondered why he hasn't done JAM. I guess we'll now get to hear how he goes on JAM, if he can get a word in with Tony, Sue and Gyles to compete with.

I don't see how that could possibly be the reason for the (admittedly unusual) 9am broadcast on 24th August. The air crash was on the 22nd - only 2 days previously. Whereas the JAM broadcast on the 24th wasn't "unexpected" at all - it was quite clearly scheduled in the Radio Times (which went to print well before the crash) and on the BBC website (which referred to it as a "special episode" recorded at the Fringe.
Whether or not it will be repeated as part of the current 8-episode series I have no idea of course. Time will tell, but at the moment I have it IDed as s72eSP.

I attended the recording that week, and Nicholas explained that the reason for the unexpected broadcast, was because the programme it replaced contained material about aircraft and flying, which came a day after the horrendous air crash in Shoreham that took a number of lives.RegardsAlanOn Fri, Oct 9, 2015 at 10:48 PM, Dean Bedford dbedford@...
