For his debut on Just a Minute, I thought Andy Hamilton's performance was quite good.  He certainly wasn't afraid to push his buzzer!  While I thought that Giles monopolized the show, Tony was quite the opposite. ,I always enjoy having Sue Perkins on the panel.

Cheers,

Pete

I've found that Tony tends to sulk when he feels he's been unfairly treated.
I remember the time NP declared two players equal winners because one of them was only a point behind Tony at the end, and Tony was quite aggrieved.

Yes, I think Tony doesn't put up enough of a fight when he is being wrongly treated. Paul would never allow it. He'd back down if Nic asked him to be charitable for the flow of the show. Tony gives up without a fight. Though I've noticed on several progs I've listened to recently even though Nic has it explained to him carefully what was said and why he is wrong, he just does not listen and awards it wrongly without further comment.

I chatted with Tony at his one man Random Fun Tour - I was at the front in a small, well spaced audience - and he asked for questions on bits of paper. I asked him did he recall the issue that Mark discusses below, and he did, and he still looked a bit irked.

Dave
