Tonight's episode is listed as Series 73 Episode 8 of 8 - but it was previously broadcast as the Edinburgh Special between Series 72 and 73. So how do we number this?
I already have it as JAM857 S72ESP Whisky Galore, now I have a duplicate which is JAM865 S73E08 Whisky Galore. And if you follow Dean's numbering then this Episode 8 is already listed as Episode 1.
My brain hurts . . .

Of course that will have to be numbered JAM865 and when the next series starts I will have to use that number again for the first episode. This is the sort of thing that could confuse a stupid person .. .--

It may be more straightforward and user-friendly to simply follow the example set by the commercial release.
