Topic: The new series

Not a lot of talk here about the new series, other than Mark graciously uploading it (Thank you, Mark, for enabling my laziness!).

Of the two contestants who have debuted so far this season, I was most impressed with John Finnemore. He seemed immediately at home with both the format and spirit of the game.

Alexi Sayle was a pretty typical first appearance with plenty of help from Nicholas, but I look forward to hearing him again once he's a little more comfortable in the game.

Not a bad series, two episodes in.

I too thought John Finnemore did ok for a first timer and got better as the show went on.

I was surprised that Alexi Sayle seemed to be on the quieter side towards the last half of the show as he has Compared at the Comedy Club and his general style of humor is more "out there"- Nerves?

Re Graham buzzing Alexi on only 1 second in - well it is the rule but this is one of those times when panelists usually cut a Newbie slack.
