Re: [OT] Clue - ISIHAC-1974-09-18=Clerics_Ball-v2(complete)

Slogging through Clue recordings reminded me of why I never went far into cataloguing them extensively.

I quickly remembered that there are so many Frankenstein monster versions out there: with the beginning of one episode tacked onto the end of a different episode. Then there are the mutant CD versions and compilation shows, with 2 shows that are nearly the same, except for one game.

Does anyone know if the CD Volumes were always "mixed meats" rather than complete original episodes?

It's enough to do one's head in. You think you've identified a show by its starting gags, but its final "introductions to the ball" belong to a different episode. So in the end one has to go through each show segment by segment to sequence its DNA and identify its parents.

Arghhh!

Thanks, Cymro. I haven't curated my Clue collection as assiduously as I have with JAM, but it's probably time I did.
I'll do a thorough search for missing eps and let you know if I find any gaps.

Mark

Hi Mark,

Thanks Mark - really appreciate your ISIHAC post. The Clerics Ball was a great find. As a matter on interest - I had ISIHAC-1975-08-26=Common_Market_Ball - so I am wondering - in case I can fill any of your missing episodes - do you have a list of your missing ISIHAC episodes? I have been scouring for years - and might be able to fill if you do as a small repayment.

Thanks again

C

Oh, and I also found a copy of ISIHAC-1975-08-26=Common_Market_Ball (not to be confused with the 1979 episode with the same final topic.

It's heading into the Jar.

Interested OTR collectors might want to visit radioechoes.com. Mainly American radio, but a fair few Brit radio shows. But no JAM, it seems.

Mark

Hi Clue Fans.

If you have the incomplete copy of ISIHAC-1974-09-18=Clerics_Ball I have found a complete (but low quality) copy and stitched in the better quality fragment I already had.

If anyone has a better complete copy, please let me know!
I'm putting it in the Jar now. It may take a while. Don't download until the file size is over 19 MB.
