Among the 50th anniversary material, the BBC is doing a programme which will celebrate Nicholas Parsons. He will be interviewed and I've been invited to pose a question.
So I am crowd-sourcing this - what question would you ask Nicholas? Or would you like me to ask him?
Post away and I'll try to pick a winner
cheers, Dean

I quite like question 3.
Amro
Hi Dean, hope you're well.
The questions I would like to ask if I met him are:1. "Why do you so rarely thank the radio listeners, who are the one of the key factors for keeping the programme going?" This may be vetoed on grounds of being embarrassing for him.2. "What's happened to Kit Hesketh-Harvey? He was always good fun, but hasn't been on for some years."3. "Do you have any say as to who should or should not, be a panelist?"I'm sure I have more, and will post if/when I remember them. All the best,Steve

Haha... and he does welcome the listeners, not just in this country but around the world! ;-) (it's still funny when he says that albeit true).

Maybe it's just me, but I've never felt a strong desire to be thanked for listening to a radio programme.

How about: How does Nicholas see the future of JAM, and, if he had to pick one, who would he nominate as his successor in the chair after he retires?
The second part is what intrigues me most. The question perhaps can benefit from rewording but you get the gist.

thanks for questions so far from Steve and David.
Nick has said in the past that he doesn't have any input on panellists.
It is hard to think up a really good question he hasn't answered - he has written and said so much on JAM.
