No, this episode was nowhere held, except by BBC Worldwide.
It was not on any list of known surviving BOK recordings, for there are no
existing off-air tapes of it, and of course it is never clear which episodes
from any given show have been issued to overseas stations by BBC
Transcription department. What you heard last week on the air was of course
a Transcription recording, from the commercial holdings built up by BBC
Enterprises.
It really is not possible to say that there is little hope of 'lost'
episodes surfacing. What do we here know of which recordings lie hidden in
the Transcription department? Since no list of the department's holdings for
BOK is presently available to us, we have no way of knowing what might yet
turn up.
There will certainly be two more lost episodes from series 1, since they
have announced that they will play 13 episodes from that series in this run,
of which last week's was number 11. There are accordingly two more 'lost'
episodes to come -- starting immediately, because all the remaining episodes
of series 1 are not held anywhere as off-air copies, so both the remaining
episodes in this batch of 13 will *also* be 'lost' episodes.

The episode I found was probably missing just 'to me'. For some reason I had
never found it in my past years of searching.
Indeed there is little hope that the 'officially' missing episodes will be
discovered.

Sadly only 13 shows survive from the original run of 21 episodes in Series
1, including both home and overseas (BBC Transcription Service) recordings.
So only 13 programmes in all will air from series 1 in the current run of
repeats.

A bit of good off-topic news for BOK fans.
Today iPlayer added BOK S01E16 from 1958-10-15 (My Resistance Is Low) - an
episode that I lacked.
If the BBC keeps this up for the next 10 weeks or so, a lot of other missing
eps may be added to the BOK Jar!

Mark
