Just noticed it's the 52nd anniversary of the first broadcast of JAM.

The panel consisted of Wilma Ewart, Clement Freud, Derek Nimmo and Beryl Reid.

Beryl, Derek and Clement have all since died, but what about the elusive Wilma Ewart?

52 years on and there is still little to no information about her!

Her one and only radio appearance seems to have been the pilot episode of JAM.

Nicholas has said she was an American neighbour of his who got invited on at the last minute to replace him on the panel, as the planned host, Jimmy Edwards, couldn't make the recording date.

What else do we know about her, though? I've been unable to find any photos of her, or even ascertain her age, date of birth or profession.

Surely there must be someone related to her who could tell us a bit more...?
