I was letting my sister-in-law have a copy of some JAM episodes: I
think the ABC in Australia is stuck in a time warp where it only plays
KW era JAM - we had never heard any of the new crop. Anyway she was
asking how old Nicholas is. I guessed then looked up wikipedia.

And was amazed! I could not believe he is nearly 84. Hasn't rung in
sick and has amazing wits still about him: the exchange in the latest
one about talking to a room; which got to Nicholas saying he talks to
his fridge; which led to a response as quick as a whip to the comment
about when they talk back it's a sign of mental illness which would
have done anyone proud. Quite astounding.

84?! He certainly didn't seem that old when I went to see a JAM recording last December! He is amazing.

age.

Thanks to the kind offices of people on this list I now have the full
set (just about) of available ones. It has brought great pleasure to
me recently.

Thanks

sounds young?  Dean, I don't mean to be rude when i say this.... but when you listen to Nicholas talk do you take mind-altering drugs at the same time?  Because for the last few years Nicholas has sounded anything but young.
