Topic: my weekely random thoughts :-)

my listening to just a minute this week was interupted by work i had
to do so i hope i am making some kind of sense here !

Seeing as I am Irish I can say Paul is right plenty of Irish people
go to the gold cup!

Good first challenge form Chris, he did not hesitate, nice the way
he got back at Tim rice too.

Nice challenge from Paul about narcolepsy!

From here indeed Cheltenham? Paul should have been got for
deviation from the English language that made no sense!

I hope alun cochrane got his bonus point for saying hello!

I have got in fact? Another time Paul has made no sense but at least
Chris got him for repetition!

Chris keeps tripping up at least he has stopped pointing out his own
mistakes as he used to do in the past!

It was taken over my Tim rice that did point out one of his mistakes!

I am sorry to say this but I don't care for alum Cochran's voice.

Good dodge form Tim rice to prevent the repetition of younger!

Good joke form alun about osama bin laden being a supply teacher at
his school

Chris started pointing out his mistakes again.

Double entendre form Nicholas about giving alun one (the benefit of
the doubt i mean !)

There seemed to be a lot of challenges for um or err maybe it was
just what peple happned to be saying but i seemed to notice it
more .

Chris made a good comment about not hearing about big chief I spy,
not knowing the newspaper he was form and getting rewarded with a
feather.

Good come back form Chris when Tim says I spy with my little eye
something beginning with A. more good stiff form Chris about gchq
and good come back form alun!

Poor alun is struggling a bit! No such challenge as rubbish it is
deviation!

Why is Paul challenging about bits of the house? Once is enough.

So and so is repetition Chris was right to get it!

Walnuts are one word I don't know about the other nuts he mentioned!

What was that noise Tim made while talking about fruitcake!

Nicholas was right Chris did get a bit too keen on the buzzer toward
the end of the topic fruitcake

Alun picked on poor Chris then he made the same mistake Chris did
earlier !

Chris Neil deserved to win more then paul merton.

I enjoyed that show but I think I am getting more then a bit fed up
with Paul Merton winning almost ( please note I say almost) every
show he is on . he also gets a fair bit of favouritism . I have to
admit while he is excellent at playing just a minute I never cared
for him as a comedian.maybe it is time to rest him for a couple of
shows . I know I am in a minority of one on this!

cheers
Linda

Hi

Listened this morning to the download

Tim Rice's noise was just a slurping - the challenge should have been
repeating on syllable of it not the whole thing as Paul did.

An interesting error which could have led toPaul winning by mre than
he did - there was a challenge at the end of fruitcake by Chris (which
would have been more effective if it had been for hesitation [the
standard last minute {so to speak}interruption] but was for
repetition) because he wanted to end a topic. Paul then made the joke
about playing on his own at home (double entendre) and Nick gave him
the subject and the finishing point that should have been Tim's - who
may not have got a point for being interrupted. Either Nick made an
error or there was another interruption edited out (It did drop from
7-3 seconds I think).

this has happened before, I think it was during Ross Noble's last appearance, he had the subject, I forget what it was, he was surprised that he still had it, was buzzed for hesitation by Tim Rice and Nicholas said that it wasn't it was deviation, and then gives the subject to Paul when it wasn't Paul who challenged.
