A bio - Well-known for her legendary one-woman shows, Jo Caulfield is
one of the most popular comedians on the UK circuit and has recently
been nominated as the best female Stand-Up in the country. The Observer
calls her "an inspiration to would-be female comics", while The Times
advocates that "Jo Caulfield is the sort of female stand-up who makes
you feel better about female stand-up". A regular guest on both “Have I
Got News For You” and “Never Mind The Buzzcocks”, Jo has just completed
her first solo national tour. Due to popular demand more dates have been
added and the tour will re-continue in the Autumn. She is the star of
her own Radio 4 series “It’s That Jo Caulfield Again”. “Many of the
points Jo Caulfield makes about the human condition would have
sociologists stroking their beards in admiration, but her audiences tend
to be laughing too much to notice” – The Times. “Pick of the day.
Scathing, bitchy and sharp-witted comedy” – Radio Times.

It should also be noted that she has another JAM commection - she spent
years as writer and warm-up act for Graham Norton

So I take it Jo Caulfield is to feature on JAM? I quite liked her on
Buzzcocks and Mock the Week (hosted by fellow JAM alumni Dara O'Briain)

According to a poster here, the participants for the Edinburgh shows were

show one - Sir Clement Freud, Paul Merton, Fred MacAulay and Jo Caulfield.

show two - Clement, Paul, Marcus Brigstocke and Janey Godley.

Good to have Fred back again! And first appearance by Jo - the sort of
comedian who should do very very well.

Cool. I must have missed that. Yeah, great to have Fred MacAulay back after a 3 year absence and a second chance for Janey Godley to prove her worth on the show. She did okay last year but was outclassed by Paul, Clement and Ross Noble (I wonder why he hasn’t featured this year? L). I think the premonition of having a more experienced player of the game with Paul and Clement is coming true with the return of Fred and Marcus Brigstocke.

perhaps my earlier post didn't circulate? If so here it is again

He lives in Australia now - he's just arriving back in the UK now to
start a tour though, but he's doing his own gig the night JAM is
recording
