i am full of laryngitis so i hope we weekly review is not going to
sound like a load of rubbish !

27th August panel: Paul Merton, Janey Godley, and Clement Freud and
Marcus brigstoke

Topic 1: 5 star review:
Little bit of hesitation before clement said Edinburgh festival.
It is Scottish is the people scotch is whiskey!
The audience are bias!
Repetition of a lot for sure
Good comments from Marcus about adding up reviews. I think he did
repeat though.
Nice little comment from Nicholas about the length of time clement
has been playing the game
Boasters? Surely it is posters or is it Marcus's rather posh accent
that made it sounds like that!

Topic 2: a sporran
Yucky description of a sporran from janey
Hard luck janey you were doing so well.
I hate to hear janey being called hen!
Nice comment from clement about Scottish people
Pardon me I have never heard Irish whisky only being spelt with a
second e. I should know I am Irish . I thought they were all spelt
without it what ever contry they were distilled in!
I have never seen Paul take so long to get into the game.
Paul had a nice go at the subject
If you go to Scotland ask for a friend mars bar not a friend sporran!

Topic 3: ging gang goolie (pardon my dyslexic spelling!)
This should be interesting!
I like the cycling accident comment from Marcus.
Good comment about enjoying singing from Paul. I am surprised he
lost it
Funny comment about whipping scouts into a frenzy. And good comment
form Nicholas about Ralph rieder and Nicholas being part of his gang
show.
Marcus hesitated and lost out to Paul
O dear Paul is singing not repetition though it is on the card!
I was wondering when a reference to people of other countries might
be made!
Ah Texaco do have a deli. There is one in Merion road Dublin that

Topic 4: naming names
O dear Paul this is crap!
Thank god Marcus got him on repetition
Nice challenge janey. No arguing with her.
Oops janey hesitates but no buzzer
Second one gets called by clement!
Good challenge from Marcus about how he didn't say he was not going
to name names as clement said. Then a good clement come back saying
he was not including Marcus in his comment.
One of Clements lists about names he will not name. Good challenge
from Paul. Everyone is trying to get a bonus point. Janey says
Nicholas is sexy and gets 2!

Topic 5: on and off
Who is clement on about and what does this have to do with on and
off for god sake someone get him for deviation!
Well-done janey!
Ah I get it now onandoff a name!
Nice comment from Paul did he write a play about this and that!
Good contribution from janey it was not repetition. Janey voice is
not that good though.
Repetition of sing in the streets hard luck janey
Bit of an attack by Paul on janey when janey said she like to be
interrupted.

Topic 6:ear nose and throat
I know what you mean janey I got the lurgy right now .
Nice comment form janey to Marcus about being to posh to get the
Glasgow slang
Repletion of clown Marcus got in
O dear Marcus that's tmi about your nose running someone stop him!

Good try Paul, I think you will get it anyway as you usually do.

Topic 7: the law of diminishing returns
Marcus shut up I am sick already I don't want to be made worse!

I can't believe a fan of jam like Paul claims to be could get the
start date of it wrong.

Topic8: your mum
Come on Marcus beat Paul!
Early repetition from Paul.
Clemet got it then made quite a pause!
Never heard your mom being used as an insult.
Repetition of child like a catholic family.
Nice talk form janey. Got right to the end.

Nice one Paul didn't win. Despite almost making me throw up with
talk of malfunctioning sinuses and marmite!

I noticed that Paul didn't make too much of a contribution. On a
lot of shows he is buzzing every chance he gets. Was it just I or
did he seem a little narkey.

Does Janey Godley remind anyone of another jam contributor blythe
duff?

Good show but I got the feeling something was missing. i have heard
a lot better
