Topic: Brief But Memorable - Dale Winton

Another individual I would like to mention in the Brief But Memorable
category is Dale Winton.

I've only watched two of the televised JAM episodes where Dale Winton
became a regular as the captain of the Midlands team, but I have to
say that he was utterly brilliant and exceptionally funny and
definitely knew how to play the game for laughs with his camp
sensibilities.

Plus, he was quite a sharp dresser for the show.

My knowledge on this man is very limited aside from the fact that he
hosted a game show called 'Supermarket Sweep', and I think Julian
Clary mentioned him on the show with regards to the subject
of 'witchcraft', making the claim that he is part of a coven that was
responsible for getting Dale Winton a third series.

I'm surprised that he hasn't yet appeared on the radio version of the
series yet, but I hope he does, it would certainly add another camp
voice to the plethora of camp personalities that take part in the
show already.

anyone wish to share their thoughts on this man?

I'm full of unpopular opinions tonight, but I have to agree! Dale
Winton was good in Just a Minute!

The first series of these ITV shows (the ones without Winton) were my
first experience of Just A Minute, and I thought every single one was
hilarious and they had be clutching my sides with laughter every time.
I'm absolutely kicking myself for not recording any of these. I
graduated to the Radio version later, and kept a near-complete
collection on audio tape from about 1995 through to about 2002.
