just to clarify, I don't think that the show would be funnier if Nicholas got every decision right, cuz if he did many wonderful moments of him being sent up would never occur. what I mean is that I wish that he could be more consistently fair, because after firmly establishing something one minute and then forgetting about it the next minute can be very irritating, and very unfair to other panelists, the notion that he wouldn't allow anyone to challenge Kenneth for repetition of 'and', and then when Kenneth challenges someone on 'and' its allowed, when to be honest the real fair thing would be to not let ANYONE be allowed the challenge.

and the way things have opened up with regards to 'deviation' it does tend to hinder people sometimes because if essentially anything can be counted as deviation, then there's no point in talking if one minute you're allowed to go on a flight of fantasy and surrealism and the next you're going to have the subject taken away for deviation because you're going on a flight of fantasy and surrealism, it doesn't make sense and it is isn't fair if you're going to allow one panelist to get away with something, and then another panelist does the exact same thing you're gonna take it away from him or her. like challenging Kenneth on elongating his vowels beyond the point of hesitation, and not getting the subject, and then you as a panelist do the exact same thing and it gets taken away from you for hesitation, how fair is that?

or Nicholas making erroneous proclamations, like when someone challenges on 36 repetitions of the letter 'I', and him saying that they've never challenged on 'I' before, which is complete and utter codswallop. or when he says that he runs a quick recall through that computer he has in his, errrr, up there, it's a joke, an utter joke for him to say that he is listening to everything that's going on, when 9 times out of 10, and by his own admission, he will essentially say that he wasn't paying attention or even listening to what was going on. this coming from someone that goes on and on interminably about always being switched on, that he was 'listening like stink' whatever the hell that means. because I didn't think that stink had a sound, I know that something which stinks has a smell, but not a sound.

simeple question robert . so you think the show would be as funny if
nicholas got every desicion right ? my own opinion would be no . after
all this is not vitally inportant in the grand scheme of things it is
only a radio comedy show !

just curious - does it also bother you that I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue,
they talk a lot about points and scores - but never give them out? Does
that ruin the show for you?

not really, because by its very nature 'ISIHAC' is in fact the antidote to panel games, it actually makes it funnier when they mention something about the score and points, and then never announce what the current score is, the idea that they are leaving you hanging and then move on to something else is quite funny, because its the idea that it plays with people's expectations, which is really nice actually.
