MediaFire Blog

The most relevant bit:
In an effort to continue supporting the growing MediaFire user base andmeet as many people's needs as possible, we have decided to limit themaximum file size to 100MB. The total number of files and total storagespace per account will remain unlimited. The 100mb upload limit willtake effect immediately and on Monday, February 5thMonday, February 12th at 12:00 AM CST all files over 100MB currently onMediaFire will be removed from the hosting system. If you have anyfiles hosted on MediaFire that exceed 100mb please take thisopportunity to either delete them from your My Files page or download acopy before the removal date.

Okay, I did suggest MediaFire, but since this popped up, I'm feeling rather hostile (or it may be the cold medication I'm on). They'll still let you host an unlimited amount of files, but none of them can be over 100 MB.

Emile, this means that most of your links are too big. Don't spazz out now, though: I've downloaded most of them, and if you want me to reupload them again in more bite-sized bits, I'd be happy to, so that you don't have to go through all that aggravation again. Or we can share the task. I say again, no spazzing or throwing flamboyant tantrums like someone we know . . .

Yes, I'm talking to you, Mr. Williams!

No worries! :) I don't do the tantrum thing. I'm annoyed and
irritated, sure, but I had a feeling something like this would
eventually happen. I just didn't expect it quite so soon. I can live
with that, except that I've just spent so much time uploading over a
gig of content that will now be removed. I can easily recompress the
series (though I'll probably have to split the larger 20+ ep series
into two halves). If you want to help with the uploading be my guest.
:) We'll keep our archives even if it means we split it into many more
files. Which is probably just as well for those with slower internet
connections.
