Next week is the second show from Stratford-on-Avon with Sir Clement
Freud, Graham Norton, Gyles Brandreth and Phill Jupitus.

January 21 is from King-s Lynn with Gyles, Tony Hawks, Kit
Hesketh-Harvey and Janey Godley.

The first show in three years without either of the regulars.

And Janey's first appearance outside the Fringe. She deserrves it, she's
been damn good in her Edinburgh appearances.

I see Janey wrote briefly about the show on her blog.

The radio show went really well, ‘Just a Minute’ is the scariest radio
show in the world. You have to talk for a whole minute really fast and
not deviate, or repeat or hesitate…and it has millions of fans and
listeners. It can be so frightening, but you have to go with the flow
and be funny as well. Nicholas Parsons who hosts the show is just a
wonderful wit and I adore him.

Short answer - I don't know.

But it's fun to have a guess!

I posted a few weeks ago that Sue Perkins and Phill Jupitus were both
already booked. So a good guess for the next show - Salisbury - could be
Sir Clement Freud, Paul Merton, Sue Perkins and Phill Jupitus.

On the other two recordings. According to the Colston Hall website, Paul
and Graham are confirmed for their show. I'd say Paul will do both gigs,
and Clement one. Tilusha Ghelani is very keen to have a woman on every
show so I'd tip either Jenny Eclair or Pam Ayres for one of them, and
someone new for the other - she likes new voices. Of the men I think
Marcus Brigstocke and Tim Rice most likely to appear again this season,
but again - a new voice could be a possibility.

Have just remembered that someone told me Tilusha has been trying to
book Jo Brand! Who would be great!

AWESOME!  I hope this is true, cuz I thought her appearances on TV were excellent, especially her first appearance.  I think you described her on the website very well with her style of comedy, and her put downs and insults have the comedy equivalent of depth charges.  Jo Brand making the jump to the radio version would be awesome!

Yep. The last episodes without Paul or Clement were broadcast in March 2005, recorded at the Mermaid. Tony Hawks was joined by Tim Rice, Chris Neill and the still very much missed Linda Smith. And Nicholas Parsons had the ‘flu.

Should be interesting to hear who dominates this episode. Could go to anyone J

It was Paul Merton, Clement Freud, Marcus Brigstock, and Jenny Eclair. Thoroughly enjoyed it. even though each recording is about 45 minutes long, the time flies by. I thought Jenny was good value; I like Marcus's wit, but I'm afraid Clement is a shadow of his former self, though he had his moments.
