Topic: posting to group

Message 1 / 2

Some posts are being forwarded to me for approval because they are being
picked up by a spam-protector. I think the reason is that one or two of
you aren't tidying up the messages before posting and they therefore
look like the sort of spam that includes several parts. The one I just
approved included in its tail the five previous messages in the thread.

If you are hitting "reply" please tidy up the previous messages so you
only repeat what you are actually replying to. If you don't there will
be delays in posting while Yahoo waits for me to say yes it is a genuine
post....

thanks

I normally do edit my replies but for some reason when I reply to the emails from Yahoo Groups (not just
this one) the previous emails in the chain are included as a single image so I can't be selective.
I use Outlook Express.
How bizarre.

Does anyone else get this?
Aha - just spotted the solution, change the format of the reply from HTML to plain text.
Then change to Rich Text so I can edit out the excess parts of the chain.

Many apologies if it was me causing this grief.
If I remember to do the reformatting, all should be well from now on.

How archaic are plain text emails...
How annoying are HTML emails...

Cheers
