There is a Just A Minute connection as the TV quiz-game show is chaired
by JAM guest Stephen Fry and has featured other JAM guests such as Linda
Smith, Kit Hesketh-Harvey, Gyles Brandreth, Barry Cryer, Julian Clary,
Liza Tarbuck, Fred MacAulay, Arthur Smith, Graeme Garden, Jeremy Hardy,
Neil Mullarkey, Dara O’Briain, Bill Bailey, Jo Brand, Rob Brydon, Eddie
Izzard and Sean Lock.

And the programme is the brain-child of John Lloyd, who produced Just A
Minute between 1974 and 1976.

And it's just... well... interesting...

Ja ja. There is indeed a great crossover of JAM guests to QI guests. I wish Paul Merton would do QI, though. Or Graham Norton!

QI is quite interesting, innit? I'm running away to London with a couple of friends this May with the explicit purpose of seeing QI. We have to cross the Atlantic ocean, but gosh darn will it be worth it!

I absolutely adore QI! I have an account at UKNova.com where one can
download all sorts of Brit programs via BitTorrent. Thanks to that
site I discovered the joys of QI (I have all 4 series of it) as well
as other panel shows featuring various JAM panellists ("Mock The Week"
which is hosted by Dara O'Briain, "Graham Norton's Bigger Picture").
Not to mention the last few series of Have I Got News For You.

Being able to download these shows is such a treat, as living in
Canada as I do, I have no other way of watching it. And just realizing
how much great stuff they air over in the UK. That's about all the TV
I watch these days, as I absolutely despise North American TV.

LOL! I had to reply to this again, because I just checked my school email account, where I receive a "Google Alert" for Stephen Fry. "Google Alerts" crawl the web for new blog and web postings related to the subject, and give you a sampling. This was in today's batch:

I looked at it and said, "Hey!"

I always score quite well on blog searches on JAM and JAM-related
people... guess there aren't many other blogs on this subject!

It's unfortunate in some ways, but at least *you're* talking about them!
