Kenneth Williams book

True, his autobiography ends in 1972. But you won't find anywhere a deeper
insight into Kenneth Williams than that which is available from the Kenneth
Williams Diaries, which go right up to the day of his death in 1988, even if
some entries were omitted for reasons of space.

Yes I'm well aware of that book, as I own a copy. It's not a biography.
As you say it's an autobiography.

It's an okay read but doesn't throw that much light on Kenneth's private
or inner life. And it ends in 1972, 16 years before his death. So still
plenty of room for another book. Maybe if this one doesn't come out,
I'll write it myself. :)
