I went to see ISIHAC Live at the Lowry in Salford last night. It was
really good and despite his frailty, Humph was on top form (I had been
expecting lots of fluffed lines, but in the event he handled even the
most intricate double-entendres with aplomb).

My only minor quibble was that it was all recycled material, even the
Sound Charades subjects - it was a bit flat watching Messrs Hardy and
Brooke-Taylor pretending not to recognise a charade for Herbie Goes to
Monte Carlo which had been performed in a recent series. But, as I say,
overall it was excellent. Humph even played his trumpet at the end.

Maybe it's me, but there was definitely an air of valediction about the
proceedings... you could quite believe that this was one of the last
times the teams would perform together and that this was a chance for
them to air some of their "Greatest Hits" for posterity.
