As far as who could sit-in for Humph, I think all the suggestions
have been stellar, but the one person who immediately popped to mind
is John Cleese, who seems to both have the "curmudgeon" factor, and
yet still dignified and silly. It's good to see there are so many
other fans of the show out there.


yes i thought the same thing would you belive but decided not to post
it as i thought i would be laughed off the group !

He was, in my mind, mediocre in the handful of shows he did in the
early seventies,

monty python ? fawlty towers ? ok lapsedcat you are entitled to your
own opinion i just don't share it .
