I liked the show, but it was no Whose Line?. The premise of the show
was interesting, but I don't think it worked for Paul. He does shows
with other improvisers who don't follow a set of lines, whereas in
TGYH the other actors followed a script, and I don't think Merton
worked well with that. This might have just been in the USA version
that I briefly (for some unknown reason) watched. I remember they
asked the person who came in for their name, and they completely took
it around and went, "No, actually you're name is..." I just don't
consider that improvising.

As for It'll Be Alright on the Night, there isn't really much I can
say about it. It's just presenting, isn't it, basically? So I'll be
watching it but not expecting something spectacular.
