How very much I enjoy reading all the messages about this wonderful and
timeless show...

I must admit my very favourite episodes are those with all the older
folk - dearest Kenny Williams, the wonderful Derek Nimmo and others of
that time. I suppose it is the age group I most identify with...

I love their jolly banter and though I do still enjoy JAM it will never
be the same since the loss of those older performers.

I must offer an apology for not having posted before...I am an old
woman now and therefore do not have anything to contribute except my
old memories.

Thankyou all of you, especially those who run this group - all you do
is much appreciated........

Sue

Sue

Don't apologise for old memories - they are treasured here (look at Nick!)

And I think your preference also has something to do with Australian
Radio - for years we have lived the classic episodes, and it only
thanks to the net that we are able to hear anything up-to-date. But
there is also something magical about your first exposure to JAM.

Sue - please feel free to post your "old memories" - we'd love to read
them.

I love the old shows - I think if I had to pick just one JAM ep to take
to the "desert island" it would probably be a Kenny-Clement-Peter
Jones-Aimi Macdonald show...

One thing we do miss a bit from shows these days is the standard of
inter-guest banter... Kenny and Peter Jones or Derek Nimmo were always
great at that.

Nice to have you here...
