There's a short interview with Nicholas in the Manchester Evening News
where he confirms Paul on the panel - sadly doesn't mention who else!

Also present were the excellent Tony hawks, Ian McMillan and a lovely
lady whose full name escapes me. I think her first name was Shabi.

The trouble was, there were problems with the sound levels. I couldn't
even hear Nicholas introduce them onto the stage, therefore he would
announce each name...no-one could hear, so silence...then the
performer entered the stage and suddenly everyone would applaud. Quite
surreal.

Anyway, good night all round. Definitely going again if it comes back.

Surely a radio show is purely sound? If the sound goes wrong, don't
they have to do it all again?

I guess they have a feed into the Outside Broadcast truck outside to
record, and another feed which goes into the Public Address system
(speakers) within the theatre. The balance of sound would be right for
the recorded version, because they would have tested it and engineers
would have rectified any problems - I assume.

Yeah, they tested the volume at the begining of both shows, but I could
hear the first intro, but struggled to hear most of the first show.
The second show I could hear most of it though I still struggled to
hear Paul.

Cat, where abouts were you sat? I think that had some influence over
how much you heard. I was on the 4th row of the circle to the left and
could hear all unless the audience was reacting.

I sat circle 1st row, to the left. Tony's voice was fine throughout.
Struggled a bit with the others and had to rely on Paul's reactions a
lot in the first show.

Second show much better. I think audience reactions will reflect this.
But my lip-reading skills improved no end!

I heard most of the story-telling, but when there was a build-up of
laughter I missed the banter between the panellists, but no doubt
that'll be picked up for the radio transmission.

Essentially, I only have one thing to say about last night - it was
great, and if anybody from the show is reading this...PLEASE COME BACK
TO MANCHESTER!

Thank you! Been trying to find out who she is all day!

Genuinely likeable person, will have to look out for some of her other
stuff.

In another JAM link, he was on last week's "Have I Got News For You",
with Paul Merton.
