Topic: ISIHAC missing eps?

I'm almost ashamed to admit it on here, but I listened to Clue for the
first time yesterday. I know it might seem absurd what with these
message boards filled with tributes to Humphrey Lyttelton recently,
but in fact it was the warmth of those messages which have persuaded
me to give it a go, and now my computer's playing along, I decided to
raid the back issues on here and download some.

Only thing is, there does seem to be a lot of files missing on
Mediafire...I'm actually working backwards so particularly noticed
s44-49 to be a bit hit-and-miss for downloading. Does anybody else
have any other links to these shows at all? I think Just A Minute has
a real rival for my affections now, the former does not include Jeremy
Hardy's singing!

PS: I'm very grateful to Cymrogwirion for uploading all the series.
Many thanks.

Hi Cat – Welcome to the mystical world of the “clue”

It’s great that you have found your way to Mornington Crescent albeit ignoring Stobolds gambit – but!!

With regards to the files early in the year I noted that many were missing and Cymrogwirion has tried to get media file to restore them to no avail. Instead he has started to upload them here --- http://www.archive.org/details/ImSorryIHaventAClue

There is only up to Season 10 here so there are still massive gaps but I believe that Cymrogwirion has a life outside the world of clue :-o so fits this share of files around that.  It’s great that he can do this – so be patient I’m sure that gaps can be filled.

I can Zip up some files perhaps and email across some missing ones if you are wanting particular shows (Harrogate with Jeremy Hardy and Darlington with Hawkes are my favourites).

Cymrogwirion - any news on further shows??

Kind Regards

Simon D Forrest

Hi - I am feeling suitably humble that a big push today on more episodes on archive. It
isn't so much the time - as it is my bandwidth restrictions every month - uploads count
against my total download! (and I download way too much) Anyway - nothing much going
on this month - so hopefully I will finish off this month. I Promise!!!!! As far as missing
episodes go - all my sources (usenet etc) have dried up - like dean - I do not hold any
hope for new episodes of ISIHAC being discovered - and the fact that BBC 7 have never
played any of the missing episodes make me think that they are gone forever.

Thank you both for the info. I appreciate it must take up a lot of
time to upload these files. All I can think of doing to help is that
I've been keeping an eye out for Just A Minute episodes since I joined
this group and now I'll do the same for Clue....You never know, I may
yet prove to be of some use!

I'll go back to kicking myself that I didn't go and see the show when
it was on in Manchester 2 months ago.

Catherine

Yes - I have uploaded a bit today! I wonder if we should change the
link sections to reflect ISIHACs new location. Also could someone
confirm that the archive.org system is ok and acceptable - before I
complete the whole run! I haven't tried downloading myself - so it
might be a pain to do so!!!! I would appreciate feedback!
