Hi Dean and JAM fans!
I've been here since Dean started this group, though rarely posted.
Read the posts mostly.
We have just uncovered an exclusive and never heard before audio
interview with Kenneth Williams of 45 mins made in the Savoy hotel
Madeira (his room) on 27th dec 1984. Julian Balkan who still lives here
in Madeira ran and owned the Radio Turista at the time, he had'nt
expected more than the fifteen minutes arranged....and I guess KW was
in good spirits that day, he sounds well and in good spirits, some
interesting talk of carry ons, Hancock, mother, travels etc and even
does the court wangler(?)song! We have just transfered the old cassette
onto digital media, would anyone like to hear this? If so Wheres best
place to post it...Media fire?
...and thanks to everyone who made all these great JAM shows available
I'm an ardent fan since the 70's..

This is marvelous, Rick. Do please let us know if you post it somewhere for sharing. Esp. interesting since if I recall diary entries correctly that trip overall was not a great time for poor KW?
