Had no doubt Clement would be on the show in his home turf. He only lives on the other side of the Blyth estuary in Walberswick J

An interesting aspect of this recording is that according to the
information I have seen they are going to record JAM on two days (this
Friday and Saturday if you're in the area). Radio Four is recording
quite a few shows at this "Latitude" Festival and that's what the
schedule shows.

Now as we all know, they always record two shows at a time. So does that
mean they are going to record FOUR shows in all (presumably saving two
for next year) or one each day?

Either way, we'll probably see a different panel if they do record on a
second day.

this should be interesting, but it's great that Ross is back.

The panel for the second show - unusually recorded the day after the
first - was Sir Clement Freud, Paul Merton, Ross Noble and Robin Ince.
It will be Robin's first appearance, he is a comedian and impressionist
so should be good fun.

I have to say that Robin Ince hasn't overly impressed me with his
occasional appearance on The Now Show where he sometimes takes
the "Marcus Brigstocke" slot. Hopefully the JaM format, which is more
improvised, will be more his forte. We shall see.

I’ll have to stick up for Robin Ince here. When he appeared on Never Mind The Buzzcocks a couple of years ago he accused fellow guest John Barrowman of faking his homosexuality to get up close with loads of fit birds on that Find A Maria For Tim Rice’s Ex show; a true classic moment of British comedy J
