As we continue to get new members I thought it might be useful to list
the guidelines for participation in this group.
1. The group has two main purposes - to share recordings, and to discuss
and share information on the show.
2. This is a fun group. That means we play nice - be polite to others,
respect their opinions, if you disagree do so in a civil way.
3. Similarly bear in mind we are all JAM fans, if you want to criticise
the show or its performers, you are welcome to do so, but please try and
do so in a moderate way.
4. Spam is totally unacceptable. Anyone spamming will be banned from the
group.
5. As an anti-spam measure, all new members have their posts moderated
until their first post. If the post is on-topic, they immediately get
full posting privileges.
6. We take a broad view of what is on-topic. Anything relating to JAM,
its cast and any other shows they are involved in, other BBC Radio Four
comedy shows, etc etc etc.
7. You are welcome to mention other upcoming shows involving JAM
performers here - but please, just two mentions, after that it begins to
feel like we are being spammed.
8. I'm the sole moderator. I'm a very tolerant person - so far apart
from spam and spammers, I've banned no-one and moderated/stopped no
posts at all - that's in 19 months. However I reserve the right to do so
if I feel someone is being disruptive. But I truly and sincerely have no
wish to become a censor or get involved in long tiresome disputes.
that's all....
