Just have to say that tonight’s episode (from Manchester ) was very funny indeed with Nicholas, Paul Merton and Tony Hawks doing what they do best. Loved the bit where they just suggest that no-one challenges and they just speak for a minute. Ian McMillan had a strong debut, a very funny guy. Shappi Khorsandi also put in a good turn; she has a very pleasant voice but maybe not enough courage to challenge to experienced hands all that often.

That’s my opinion anyway. What do you think?

like ant i enjoyed tonights show . paul merton seemed to be better
behaved with the new people then i have heard recently . he was'nt
as agressive as he has been in the past . i loved them talking about
old trafford but thats cos i am a united fan !
i have to say i thought shappi khorsandi and ian mc millian did
very well for there first time out especially against 2 masters of
the game like tony hawks and paul merton . i hope they both get
anopther chance to show what they can do . a lot of newer people
seem to be intimidated thier first time out . this can calm down
with experience .

on an unlreated topic . i am looking to download the episode form
the 17th march last . i can;t find a record of what number episode
it is nor tonights episode for that matter . if anyone could let me
know i would be greatful .

cheers

On the actual recording night I couldn't hear much of Shappi Khorsandi
and Ian McMillan during the first recording. Even Paul Merton at times
wasn't easy to hear up in the rafters, so to listen to it properly
last night, I was pleasantly surprised with the two newcomers.

BTW no problems with Tony's voice, which as he said was the main
thing. He milked that one a bit in the interval!

Not sure if you mean my numbering system or some other system - but if
it is mine, the one yesterday was 697/56/3 and the one on 17 March was
694/55/12

I thought the show was good and I thought both Ian and Shappi were
pretty good for newcomers. But not as good as the season debut...

Interestingly, a different show was advertised - the one with Paul,
Clement, Ross Noble and Robin Ince

You're in luck--it's in my ipod, left over from the bunch I stockpiled
for my NZ trip a few months ago. Check back tomorrow, and you should
see the link (I mean, later today, i guess...)

Even luckier---I'd shared this with some folks earlier, and it was already up on MU!  Click

(and it's in the "links" section, too.)
