Topic: JAM players as Miis in Photos

Just uploaded five photos I took of Miis (avatars for the Wii) that I
made of Clement, Derek, Kenneth and Gyles. (I don't really have a
grasp of Peter, and I've tried three times without success to create a
decent one of Nicholas. As for Paul, I'll let someone else do him. :) )

They're seen on the opening screen for Wii Play, which tends to make
everyone equal in height and girth, which is why Clement and Kenneth
don't vary in the avoirdupois department. Also, when you leave the
icons on the opening screen without selecting a game, the avatars tend
to act up a little, so I HAD to get shots of Clement and Kenneth
engaging in horseplay and Derek practicing one of his frequent
subjects, relaxation.

(I haven't played the Clement or Kenneth Miis yet. Gyles has a silver
in Find Mii and a bronze in Shooting Gallery. I know I've played Derek
in Shooting Gallery; he might have a bronze too.)

I think mine of Derek is the best of the four, although Clement came
out pretty well. I've changed Kenneth's mouth from smiling to stern
and back again -- can't make up my mind on that mercurial creature! I
tried to make Gyles equal parts pompous and scamp, and I'm not sure I
got the mix as I wanted.

I've also made Miis (with varied success) of game show hosts Larry
Blyden and Robert Q. Lewis, and actors Adrien Brody, Russell Crowe,
Gillian Anderson, Anne Hathaway, Goldie Hawn, Peter Ustinov and Owen
Wilson. Not to mention family, friends, some Kill Bill characters and
even a couple of dolls. Yes, I HAVE no life. :)

I like them! I agree the Derek and Clement ones are the best
likenesses - but there's something about Kenneth too...

I'm happy with Kenneth's eyes. I just vary whether to portray the
snide guy, the one with the long, wild laugh or the stern academe with
the "don't interrupt me I'm a regular" attitude.
I thought I had the right eyes for Gyles' mischevous side, but I'm not
sure. And he was the first one I made ...
