Ahh, Kit-Hesketh Harvey, what a wonderful performer and panelist he is.
He has a great inventive mind and a great habit for surreal and
outrageous material that certainly adds a great deal to the proceedings
on JAM.
I wouldn't say he has a particular style, because it's very hard to
pinpoint it in many respects, but there is something very unique about
Kit that makes his presence and contribution on JAM invaluable.
Among my favorite moments generated by Kit came from one episode where
he was talking on a subject, I can't remember what it was, but he went
into an incredible tirade on the nature of children's nursery rhymes
being extremely pornographic, which had me in stitches, I can tell you.
Another one of my favorite moments came from something he said on a
subject, again I can't remember what, where he mentions something
about 'sucking pigs' in an old version of the Bible where the 's' were
written to look like 'f', it was very subtle, but once it hits you,
you're absolutely amazed at the cleverness on display.
He's also something of a playwright, where he actually wrote his own
play called 'Kit and the Widow', I have no idea what its about aside
from it featuring Kit and a Widow.
He is always a joy to listen to, and I always look forward to hearing
what he has to say whenever he appears on JAM.
Anyone else wish to share any other knowledge on Kit that I may have
overlooked?
