A reader says the panel for the first London recording was Paul Merton,
Sir Clement Freud, Julian Clary and Josie Long.
The other recording was today so hopefully some news from that soon.

The third recording of the season, also in London, featured Paul Merton,
Gyles Brandreth, Sue Perkins and Liza Tarbuck.

Hmmm… I wonder why Sue Perkins hasn’t
appeared on a show alongside Clement Freud for a while… Still, sounds
like a promising show with Paul, Gyles and Sue (…oh, and Liza “Just
A Minute’s Equivalent Of Archie Hahn” Tarbuck)

More news!
I have dates for the last three recordings for the current season
Monday 12th January, at the Radio Theatre in Broadcasting House, London
Monday 26th January at Lincoln University
Tuesday 10th February at the Radio Theatre in Broadcasting House, London
So those of you saying "I can't get tickets" - get on the phone!
Four of the six recordings this season are from the Radio Theatre this
season. I'm told that there's been some ruling that people shouldn't be
charged for admission to shows like JAM and that is restricting the
venues that can be used. So unless the ruling changes again, there are
likely to be more shows recorded out of the Radio Theatre - a venue that
in the last Just A Classic Minute, both Nicholas and Paul suggested
wasn't a good venue for comedy.
Jack Dee has been booked for one of the remaining recordings, possibly
the one on the 12th.
And although Paul and Gyles are the "best" players in the show's history
in terms of the proportion of games won... neither won at this week's
recording. Liza won one game, Sue the other - and neither have won a
game before.

well it's about damn time! I wonder what circumstances brought this set of affairs about? I wonder if Nicholas was in one of his domineering moods and just 'decided' to do everything in his power to keep either Paul or Clement in 4th place. ;)

Hold on, why is Liza Tarbuck the JAM equivalent of Archie Hahn? Now, I"ve read some pretty disparaging things said about Archie Hahn during his tenure on Whose Line, and I really don't think such a comparison should even be made to such a lovely and talented performer like Ms. Tarbuck.

thanks very much Linda :)
I have been talking about panels in the last couple of days - to
summarise
first panel - Paul Merton, Graham Norton, Charles Collingwood and Shappi
Khorsandi
second panel - Paul, Sir Clement Freud, Julian Clary and either Helen
Lederer or Josie Long - or perhaps they will do one show each?
third panel - Paul, Gyles Brandreth, Sue Perkins and Liza Tarbuck.
So no Tony Hawks yet but he's bound to do one or two of the remaining
recordings - there are three more this season.
