What a strange reply...
I did of course mean disk drives. And they are *much* faster than
memory pens, they are fast enough to edit video files online,
furthermore transfer speed is no real issue when it comes to bakcup.

External disk is the way to go to make backups. You can get them for a
reasonable price up to one terrabyte. And yes, you all should backup
your valuable JAM-collection!
