Hi

I noticed your blog the other day, Dean, wondering if you were being to easy on the latest series. As a listener for many years who was until recently caught in the Australian ABC timewarp (why won't they buy newer series - things like grumpy old men/women have introduced us to many of the more recent players, Jack Dee is on the TV anyway, it don't bother me cause i have this community [the web is good for something])

anyway, I reckon this has been a brilliant series. Sheila Hancock back is enough alone, but Clement has been firing (I was worried that it was like the last few Peter Jones shows which often make me sad), the guests have been good (Jack Dee was quiet, but funny); Chris Neil is back; the guy from the comedy duo that you thought sounded gay but strikes me as just sounding like a plumby pom (am one myself, southern and not proud of it) was very good; Paul was Paul; and Nicholas wasn't doing too bad - though he did get lost with the toilet joke bouncing around the last episode; and strong women.

Yep, all in all I think that this should get one of your very (very) positive series summaries.

Jeremy
