Topic: The first recording of the new series

I have just returned from attending the first recording of the new series at Broadcasting House, and thought I'd post some comments about it!

The panel was an interesting mix of old and new, being Tony Hawks, Pam Ayres, Sue Perkins and Tim Rice. I don't think these four have all appeared together before?

They were all on extremely good form and created 2 brilliant shows. Look out for Pam's round on Mother Nature (assuming it makes the final cut). Nicholas, although still in control was slightly showing his age, but that bumbling quality is part of his charm.

At the end of the 2nd show there was a short but touching tribute to Clement, which seemed heartfelt and garnered a great round of appreciative applause. All in all a great evening.

thanks very much for that Steve. Interesting panel. I suspect it won't
open the season though - Paul will surely be in the first new show.

They haven't appeared together before, correct.
