Topic: topics for discussion on the JAM program

Hello,

Sorry if this is a FAQ but when Nicholas reads out the subject that
contestants have to talk about for sixty seconds without hesitation,
deviation, or repetition, is this the first time the contestants have
heard of the topic, or are they given the topics before the show, so
that they have time to think of something to say?

Thanks.

Hello - we were just discussing this last week here, so you might like to
look back through the old posts.

But in short - the panellists have the option of looking at the subjects
when they arrive at the recording. Most do and some write a few notes - you
can see some referring to them if you go to a recording. Some, like
Clement, generally didn't look in advance.

hope that helps - and welcome! :-)
