Topic: Armadale & Clue

Hi,

More as a way of annoying certain people, I wanted to put in a request for links to the recent Radio 4 adaptation of Wilkie Collins' Armadale (I know one or two of you regularly record these plays for posterity) - and, also, the second edition of 'Clue would be much appreciated if anyone has it.

Hugs and shrugs.

Hiya.

I can help with the second part of that request but, sadly, not the first.

The latest episode of the series-that-can't-be-named (but I could give a little Clue) is now at http://link2.me.uk/chby This is the same folder as already listed in the links section of the group but I've only just uploaded the new episode a few minutes ago.

Cheers

I can help with the first part.
I'm downloading Armadale at this very moment.
I'll share it when I have all three episodes.

Cheers

Don, have you got all three downloaded?

And is the third episode of Clue available?

I'm like a big bloody slavering hound pressing its nose up against a butcher's window.

Thanks guys.

Well if you were trying to annoy me - it worked.

After all the trouble I went to, to download the series and upload to this group for sharing.
It then gets downloaded five times and then not a "Thank you" to be seen anywhere. How rude.

So next time the bg slavering hound is at the butcher's window I'll be the butcher inside the shop waving the sausages - and two fingers too

Cheers

Hi Bikerdon.  I can understand your disappointment after going to trouble for strangers and not getting a sausage in return.  I'm sure people who benefited from your efforts did appreciate it and just overlooked the traditional thanks on this occasion.

Remember folks: it's nice to be nice.

Don,

You know in the past I have been most grateful for your efforts - in a funny kind of way you've helped me through some difficult times by giving me access to some truly amusing material - and in the case of Armadale it was an oversight on my part not to pass on thanks.

Cheers mate.

I just listened to a couple of JAM last night that I downloaded in the somewhat recent past -- I don't know where I got them, but I am assuming they were from your site somewhere.  I did find them very funny (I actually laughed out loud a few times), and enjoyed them thoroughly.  I do want to add my thanks to you for making them available.  That is the only way I would ever get to listen to any of these shows.
