Topic: Re: Another 3 More Lost Episodes...#434, #435 and #449

All 3 of the first files were shown in red on the master list I was
sent, for some reason I can't display the one on the links page. To
be fair, a note with the list said it was only more or less up to
date.

Its definitely episode #425 "Bollards" and I apologise my post below
which contains that 2am typo. Sorry about that.

I have no control over the size of the files, even the ones I record
myself are 26Mb and I can't get them any smaller than that. I don't
think its a function of them being stero or mono, just the bit rate
of the mp3 file. To say they are mainly voice file they are a
ridiculous size in my opinion, and if you can reduce them in size I'm
sure very many people will be grateful.

Anyway, you've answered my question, I've uploaded them correctly and
other people have access to them and not just me, so here goes with
the next three (all also shown in red according to the master list I
was sent!). They are :

#434, "Scarborough" CF, DN, PJ and Jenny Eclair's rather brilliant
debut (very possibly the best of all her appearances, in my humble
opinion)
#435, "Pale" PJ, CF, Pete McCarthy and Stephen Fry - another great
episode with Pete Jones in classic form
#449, "Mobile Phones" PJ, PM, KH-H and Jenny Eclair again on great
form.

Unfortunately, but appropriately, #449 "Mobile Phones" has a drop-out
or two, which goes to show size isn't everything! Its the sort of
thing that could be easily cleared up by someone with some good MP3
editing software. However, I know you're all going to enjoy them and
would rather have them than not.

Thank you kindly for these new episodes! I had three of them already
(including 412 and its unbearable distortion, but hey, if it's all we
have, why complain? :) I look forward to hearing the three programs I
haven't heard before!

Are we a generous group or what? :)

I've just updated the list with your contributions. What happens when
you try to access it? It's hosted on my webspace; can you access
http://www.qitranscripts.com ?

When I try to access it on the links page here I get a long list of
black text on white background which sort of overlaps and can't be read
clearly. The link you posted here I can access but I can't find
anything relkating to JAm episodes?

I get the feeling I'm being slower than Alan Davies on a bad night ..,

Oh, okay, I thought maybe it was just a problem with Freewebs. It's
not linked from the sidebar; just hosted on the site. Do you have a
fast connection? I suppose I could always upload it as a .doc in the
files section every time I update . . .

LOL. Alan Davies is smarter than he lets on. But it's so hilarious to
see him feign.
