Ok I am very very late on this but as I have a 'tribute' or special shows on Clement/Derek/ Kenneth I was wondering about was there one for peter jones and his career? Miriam

There definitely was a Peter tribute show - there was a link on our
links page at some point.

I was unaware of a Derek tribute though

I will look again on the Links page or can someone help me with this if it is no longer there?

The Derek one I referred to was the one with his son Piers talking about his dad.

The closest thing I know to a Peter Jones tribute is the episode of
Radio Roots where Russell Davies covers PJ's radio career. I'm
afraid JAM comes in for shockingly little air time. I didn't see
this under "Links", so I've put a copy on sendspace:

They did a 30 minute tribute programme to him about a month after his death. It was different to the one you mention here - included Nicholas, Paul and Stephen Fry talking about him, some clips of his show with Peter Ustinov, his other series abt the actor (name escapes me for the moment) and of course JAM. I helped in a very small way with that bit, hence it being clear in my mind. I'm sure there will be people here with this in their collection.

Thank you Greg.
I had noticed during my latest UK cd organization that I had some sort of tribute or career overview of 3 of the 4 'old guard" players of JAM but not Peter Jones- I think that one will work out just fine.
( and I have the linda smith ones as well)

(Now that I have my DSL and PC fixed I can download more things like this- really couldn't do much before)
I have been loading my little mp3 player with some of the 'missing" episodes that are linked on here- thanks to all. Miriam
