Hi all,

As a big fan of Ed Reradon's Week (as I know many on here are too), I was previously unaware of the existence of a programme by the same team called Dave Podmore's Cricketing Week or something. Anybody got any links?

Cheers,

LPC

I've got:

Dave Podmore's Cricket Fix - 2001 - all 4eps
Dave Podmore's World of Cricket - 2002 - 3 of 4 eps
Dave Podmore's Cricket Night - 2004 - all 4 eps
Dave Podmore's Ashes Quest - 2006 - both episodes

(some are wavs so I'll convert them to mp3s first)

There are more but, as usual for the BBC, there is some (a lot actually) confusion over the names of the various programs & series.
I'll upload those above and do some research for these, if they exist

Dave Podmore Ashes Special - 2005
Dave Podmore's Ashes - 2009

Cheers

Cheers Don, any you can offer on mp3 would be fantastic - having not heard any yet, are they similar in tone to Ed Reardon?

I haven't sorted them yet, but being an avid Ed Reardon fan - I'm really hoping so...

I didn't realise they existed until fairly recently myself and to be perfectly honest I haven't listened to them myself yet, hence why they are wavs and, possibly, low bit rate mp3s.

Sooo the upshot is I will...

listen to them
convert wav to good bit rate mp3
attempt to source better bit rate mp3 if necessary
top and tail using MP3Cut so no loss in quality
normalize for consistent volume using MP3Gain so no loss in quality
upload to my fave fileshare site - SendSpace
publish the links

this may take a bit of time and I am busy this week so please be patient

Cheers

Hi Don, any thoughts on these? Are they as good as/comparable to Ed Reardon? Have you converted them? Apologies for sounding like a slavering hussy.
