New "Kenneth Williams" broadcast next week.

A fan called Wes Butters bought a lot of KW memorabilia from his godson, in a 2005 Ebay auction. I read he paid around £7,000 for it.

Among them was the script of a proposed KW-Kenneth Horne show which was never made. He returned a copy to the BBC who have recorded it with actors Robin Sebastian & Jonathan Rigby as the two Kenneths, reprising their roles in "Round The Horne - Revisited", the stage & TV revival. (Although I thought Rigby played Hugh Paddick, while Steven Critchlow was Horne)

It's on R4 next Tuesday 1st Sept at 11.30am UK time & called "Twice Ken Is Plenty - The Lost Script Of Kenneth Williams" & will no doubt be on Listen Again for a week.

The Radio Times review says "Like all nostalgia,it can disappoint at times, but mostly it is a joyous, glorious titterfest that will have you groaning in bad-pun heaven".
